Though I have lived in San Diego for a decade, Wisconsin will always be first in my heart. I believe that a Midwestern perspective will always influence me in my work. Being raised in the heartland has made me a hard worker with uncompromising values. As the daughter of a chef, I grew up in kitchens and restaurants, and I know how to cook and eat.

As is the case for many who find themselves in this career, I found graphic design by accident. Until I was almost finished with my Bachelor's degree, I didn't realize other people had opinions about the "right" amount of space between letters.
